Candiss Cole-Footitt has been a textile designer for over 30 years. She travels extensively and continues to stay on the cutting edge of fashion and fabric design. Her studio is located in Sedona, Arizona where she lives with her husband Rodger, and their three dogs.

In 2004 Candiss developed a new collection of Ikat-Shibori fabrics. The response to this fabric has been overwhelming. Candiss Cole Designs is the only Atelier in the world that hand weaves Ikat-Shibori. These techniques take the silk through multiple pleating and dye processes to create a fabric unique to the world. Candiss and Rodger work side by side, bringing a contemporary look to ancient textile traditions and bridging the gap between couture and wearable art.

In 2008 Candiss & Rodger added an exquisite new fabric of Needle Felted Merino to the line. “With the addition of this new Collection, we have pushed the bar of ‘cutting edge’ to a new level." When asked what her best piece is, Candiss answers, “ my next piece…..always”.
